"WASD was initially created as an expression of Diablo Immortal being one of the games that is mobile-first," Joe Grubb cheap d2r items, Immortal's principal game designer, informs us. "In mobile it's your direct control of your character, capabilities and skills can be fired off while you're moving. It's a lot smoother for that interaction."
"Direct control has this immersive factor to it," Fergusson adds. "When you're playing with mouse-click and you can! - you're sort of this god-like deity floating around your persona, saying 'go there and do this do this, do this. '"
Diablo Immortal will also feature gamepad support. It was first introduced in Diablo with the console edition of Diablo 3. Fergusson stated that his first experience playing the game got him excited to add this feature to Diablo 2: Resurrected, and now it's accessible for both mobile and PC versions of Diablo Immortal.
